Institute of Management Committee
Roles and responsibilities of IMC have also been laid down and
those are as following.
-
IMC may undertake projects / consultancy work from industry
may receive grants, donations, assistance or contribution
from State or Central Govt. or from any individual and
may deploy it for the development of ITI in conformity
with the objectives of the Council.
- Will
arrange vocational guidance, introductory seminar, etc.
- Will
work for helping passed out trainees for placement.
- Will
work for faculty and staff development.
- May
constitute trade Advisory Committee for improvement in effectiveness
and relevance for a particular trade group.
- will
arrange industrial training for students and faculty.
- will
work on curriculum revamping.
- will
device suitable equipment maintenance system.
- will
work for development and production of teaching software.
- will
advise institute regarding capital equipment, requirement
and its specification.
- will
formulate rules for providing consultancy/project work of
industry with the approval of the Council.
- will
perform such other functions as entrusted to it by the Council
or the Government.
